Founded in 2014, Kalos Health is a regional nonprofit Health Insurance Company that maintains a pulse on the ever-changing landscape of health care across Western New York. We stay informed and view these changes as opportunities to forge new partnerships, collaborate, drive change and affect the future, all for the betterment of our members.
Kalos Health provides health insurance coverage through Kalos Health Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) Plan. This plan helps individuals 18 and older with a chronic illness and/or health disability. Kalos Health RN Care Managers coordinates health care services throughout Western New York with a vast network designed to meet the health care needs of the diverse populations we serve.
Kalos Health also offers health insurance coverage through our Medicare Dual Advantage Plan, Kalos Health Gold Plus – a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Special Needs Plan (SNP) with a Medicare contract and a coordination of benefits agreement with the New York State Department of Health. Kalos Health Gold Plus is a Medicare Advantage Plan designed specifically for members with Medicare Part A and Part B who also have fill New York State Medicaid benefits.
